"CONCEPTION" is available in a wall art series constructed of pattern etched aluminum backgrounds that are clear coated to enhance light reflection and to preserve the beauty of the design engraved on the surface.

The foreground is enhanced by a 4" - kiln cast, hand cut, pure glass tile in red with black accent and a gold colored metallic band running veritically across the face. This is a very interesting tile and balances well with the black acrylic slice taken out of the aluminum background. Providing a very colorful focal point to this truly unique wall sculpture. Refer to the picture of the tile detail for a closer view.

The background is an etched aluminum  plate 1/8" thick. The "Engine Turned" design is machined using a 1-1/2" mandrel to create the swirl pattern circles. The circles are run in staggered rows every 3/4". This pattern is remeniscent of the pattern used in dash boards of antique and custom automobiles. A better view of the aluminum background detail design can be seen on the picture detailing the tile. The etched pattern on this plate surface picks up any available light and, like all of the pieces in this series, looks spectacular in sunlight or under colored lighting in the room.

This is a truly unique original piece. The work is mounted in a hand crafted birch wooden frame.
