"Nebula" is part of a wall art series constructed of a pattern etched aluminum background that is clear coated to enhance light reflection and to preserve the beauty of the swirl design engraved on it’s surface.
The foreground is enhanced by a 2” - kiln cast, hand cut, pure glass tile with a black background and a bright blue metallic band running across it’s middle adding color and brilliance to the overall piece.
The aluminum disk is mounted approximately 1” in front of the black wooden background giving it the appearance of “floating” off the wall. The satin black poplar wood background is enhanced by a bright blue horizontal band and a line of 1” X 6” glass tiles matching the tile on the aluminum disk. The total piece measures approximately 20” X 30”.
